Dream

What is a memory? Is it hope? Or is it truth?
When we grow old, do we remember the memories of our youth?
What is love? Is it gold? Or is it rust?
When we grow old, in our partner do we still find trust?
What is sadness? Is it life? Or is it death?
When we grow old, will it still leave us out of breath?
What is hope? Is it real? Or is it fake?
When we grow old, will we still feel the heartbreak?
What is life? Is it eternal? Or is it finite?
When we grow old, will we still breathe through the night?
What is nature? Is it beautiful? Or is it grave?
When we grow old, will we ask, “what is a wave?”
What is beauty? Is it internal? Or is it on the outside?
When we grow old, will we still be unsatisfied?
What is a heart? Is it strong? Or is it weak?
When we grow old, will it still be unique?
What is death? Is it a gift? Or is it a curse?
When we grow old, will we finally see the universe?
What is a smile? Is it grace? Or is it inelegance?
When we grow old, will we still feel the blessedness?
What is faith? Is it selfless? Or is it selfish?
When we grow old, will we still perish?
What is anything? Is it everything? Or is nothing?
When we grow old, will we see the end coming?
Nothing we see is how it really seems
It’s up to us, the ones who dream
