We see it on the pages of a book
It’s the way we see everything, the way we look
It’s all true, every single word
Where we sing with the mockingbird
We hold hands and breathe in the air
Living life to the fullest without a care
No hurt, no death, nothing but life
No predator, no prey, just coexisting wildlife
How can we tell the difference between reality and fantasy?
Look not at the agony, but rather at the majesty
Where there is no smoke, where there is no pain
Where we smile as we feel the rain
Where laughter is the best medicine, it doesn’t come in a bottle
Where we lean against the trees and write our own novel
Where love is love and no prejudice lives
Where we hold no grudges and always forgive
We swim away from the murky waters
Together again with our sons and daughters
No shadow is seen
We live as one not under a king or queen
The lands where berries grow, and memories are made
And the way we feel will never fade
Forever we are young
Forever we are one
And when we close the book it all comes rushing back
Back to reality with no blooming lilac
Back where pain festers and dreams fail
Leaving behind our own Fairy Tale
